MEXPIPE was founded in 1992 in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca in order to satisfy the growing need of high quality and affordable surf wear in Mexico.
What was started over 15 years ago as a small home based business making custom made board shorts, has grown into full time venture with a complete line of SURF and CASUAL WEAR for men, women and children.
Surfers as well as tourists from all over the world have been attracted for more than 30 years by the magic and the spectacle offered by the waves distinguished by their deep and powerful barrels that hit the Zicatela beach in Puerto Escondido, located on the Pacific Coast of Oaxaca.
This world class wave is commonly compared with the infamous “PIPELINE”, located on the North Shore of Hawaii, and is known as the “MEXICAN PIPELINE” and referred to in surf magazines as, the “MEXPIPE”.
